For the past several months we have been open for business after having to close down from the COVID-19 health pandemic. So far, so good as none of our staff or students have become ill and everyone has done a fantastic job following our health procedures.

The COVID-19 pandemic has reached a point in Southern Arizona where we are unable to ensure the safety of our families and employees (many of whom are in high risk populations). Effective immediately, we are shutting down operations at Storybook Cottage for an indefinite period of time. When we feel that it is once again safe for our families and employees, we will do everything we can to quickly reopen.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us as we have done our best to support all of you. We are incredibly encouraged to see the community come together in this time of trial to take care of one another.

Since we opened more than five years ago, our primary business phone number has been a Google Voice line. It is time for us to graduate!
Our new phone number is 520-333-0559. This is our primary phone number and it belongs to a cell phone. We do this since our office staff is often giving tours, working with our teachers, or helping our kiddos. You can use this number for voice calls and text messages!
Our office landline is still 520-392-8325 and will continue to work as well. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
We want to apologize to the community for communication difficulties we have had! From the end of August up until mid to late September our email and phone system was cutting in and out. We were unsure of the exact cause of the issues, but after replacing our phones and updating our email servers, everything seems to be working well.
We sincerely apologize for the troubles! We are a small non-profit learning center that specializes in caring and educating young children. Sometimes the technology end of things can get the best of us!
We wanted to inform our Storybook Cottage parents that our kindergarten class at our sister facility, Da Vinci Tree Academy, is rapidly filling up for the 2019-2020 school year. Given space constraints at Da Vinci Tree, we are only able to have one kindergarten class next year.
Ms. Jessica has been doing a fantastic job with our Pre-K students. All of them can read, do basic math, and love school! Da Vinci Tree’s kindergarten classes continue this journey for our young learners and begins to incorporate even more of all of our students’ favorite subjects along with science and technology. If your child is currently in Ms. Jessica’s Pre-K, be sure to ask for an application to enroll them in Mrs. Kaufman’s Kindergarten class at Da Vinci Tree!
We wish to extend our gratitude to all of those serving in the US Armed Forces, law enforcement, and emergency services. Thank you for protecting us and keeping our country safe!
We will be taking July 4th off to celebrate the holiday with our friends and loved ones. Normal operations will resume on Thursday, July 5th.
Our new sister K-8 Charter School, Da Vinci Tree Academy, will also begin to hold office hours on Thursday, July 5th from 9:00-5:30 every weekday. See the announcement here. Their phone line is already active at 520-441-0137 if you would like to call to set up a tour or ask questions.

Storybook Cottage Preschool and Daycare is excited to announce our new charter school, Da Vinci Tree Academy!
Da Vinci Tree Academy is Tucson's newest charter school and we offer a quality, hands-on STEM education. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Students in grades K-6 will enjoy small class sizes and be provided with a free iPad to explore their creativity and experience the full STEM curriculum!
The Da Vinci Tree campus is conveniently located less than a mile away from Storybook Cottage heading west on 22nd Street. The address is 8055 E 22nd Street, Tucson, AZ 85710 (see map here). Since Da Vinci Tree is in the final phases of remodeling, applications for enrollment can currently be picked up and dropped off in the Storybook Cottage front office.
